LEAVE YOUR TRIBUTES TO KEVIN BELOW...
TEAMMATES of the Hampshire father who died in a car crash on his 22nd birthday will pay a special tribute to him before their next football match.
Kevin Redding, 22, died when his car careered across a notorious stretch of the A36 as he drove home to celebrate his birthday with his girlfriend Carly Pearman and seven-month-old daughter Bobbi.
Tributes have today been paid by his footballing teammates of Freemantle AFC.
Kevin was a founder member and the star striker of the Saturday league club, currently riding high in Junior league division one.
Known as Super Kev, he was the third best goalscorer in the team's history and the leading scorer for the reserve side this season.
Manager Richard Noyce, 33, said: "He started playing for us three years ago. It is a really big loss and a very sad time.
"He was known as Super Kev after Kevin Phillips, who used to have a song about him when he played for Saints."
The team will hold a minute's silence before their match in Lordshill on Saturday and players will also be wearing black armbands.
