THERE are just two days until this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show gets under way.
The annual extravaganza has hosted a multitude of exciting and revolutionary vessels from across the yachting industry.
But this year the event, which gets under way on Friday, showcases an unprecedented number of debuts.
For the 120,000 visitors expected to attend the nine-day event, there will be more than 100 new vessels on show for the first time.
This comprises an astounding 29 world debuts, 46 UK debuts, two European and 38 boats brand new to the PSP Southampton Boat Show itself.
Highlights include the Princess 88 Motor Yacht, the Hanse 505, the Sunseeker 80 Sport Yacht, the Oceanis 38, the Hardy 62, and the Fairline Squadron.
Making her world debut, the Princess 88 Motor Yacht is described as the epitome of princess in every sense.
The stunning motor yacht will be on show at the EO54A stand in Mayflower Park.
The brand new 505 is the jewel in the Hanse model crown for 2014, and is debuting globally at this year’s show. She features a large ergonomic cockpit and will be berthed at the M265 stand during the event.
The Sunseeker 80 Sport Yacht is another vessel making her world debut in Southampton at the Solent Park.
The PSP Southampton Boat Show will give the Oceanis 38 its global debut in Mayflower Park. It is described as a “collaborative triumph of design and architecture” that offers a new approach to the sailing cruise.
The 45th PSP Southampton Boat Show will run from Friday until September 22.
