TWO Hampshire groups are hitting fundraising notes for Heart Research UK by performing special charity singing events.
Sarisbury Choral Society and the Horizon Resource in Portsmouth are organising two of the many festive singing events taking place around the UK as part of the charity's national Sing for Your Heart campaign.
The Sarisbury Choral Society collected donations following their concert of music by English composers at Sarisbury Community Centre on Saturday.
The users and staff of the Horizon Resource Centre in Cosham will be holding a sponsored karaoke event in aid of Heart Research UK.
The Leeds-based charity funds pioneering research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease all over the UK, including research at the University of Southampton.
