ARSONISTS are being blamed for a fire that destroyed a caravan.
A crew from Hightown attended the incident involving an old disused caravan in the rear garden of a property at Hilson Drive, Fareham, just before 9.30pm on Friday.
Firefighters used one jet and one hose to put out the fire involving the caravan and surrounding area, but it could not be saved.
No-one was hurt or had to be rescued.
The homeowner kept goats in the garden, but they were unaffected.
A firefighter at Hightown said it was thought to have been started deliberately and a Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said it was being treated as cause doubtful.
