A LORRY fire has closed two lanes of a Hampshire motorway this afternoon.
The M27 eastbound is partially shut at junction eight for Bursledon and Hambledon after the truck caught fire at around 2.30pm.
Traffic is queuing all the way back to junction seven for Hedge End.
Earlier this afternoon, a separate lorry fire sparked delays on the M3 northbound when the slip road for Eastleigh was closed off.
And this morning, motorists faced rush hour after the main A34 route from Hampshire to the Midlands was shut in both directions.
An accident near Toothill services caused two lorries to catch fire.
As a result emergency services closed the road, which runs from the M3, near Newbury.
