Southampton's residents have wasted no time in flocking to the city's temporary ice rink in their thousands.
Council chiefs have been celebrating the project's success after nearly 4,000 people donned their skates in Guildhall Square in the first week alone.
The state-of-the-art festive attraction has been pulling in the crowds since it was officially opened for business on December 16 by White Christmas and ex-Neighbours star Craig McLachlan.
Ice enthusiasts of all ages have been taking advantage of being able to skate in their own city for the first time since the old Banister Park rink closed in 1986.
On the rink's last day, former Coronation Street star and Dancing On Ice winner Gaynor Faye, will be promoting her new fitness video with her professional skating partner, Daniel Whiston.
Promotional discounts for city residents have now ended, but there are special offers available for families, groups and school parties. Tickets, priced £8 for adults and £6 for children for 45 minutes, can be ordered in advance by calling the Guildhall box office on 023 8063 2601.

Alternatively, you can pay at the ice rink kiosk, open from 10am to 10pm, on the day.
