IT PROMISES to be another super summer show.
Organisers planning this year’s Romsey Beggars Fair say there will be plenty of free music, dance and other family entertainment when the show hits the town on July 12.
A new venue for performers this year will be the Rum’s Eg Gallery in Bell Street. The opening ceremony will be staged at the Cornmarket as usual but organisers are desperately looking for a venue to accommodate Southampton Ukulele Jam – a popular city band.
Organisers of the event, which is funded through programme sales, sponsorship, donations and grants, are already looking ahead to sponsorship of the 2015 Beggars Fair and anyone who would like to support the popular show or who can offer a venue for the band is asked to go online to beggars-fair.org.uk for more details.
