HAMPSHIRE film director Ken Russell is getting used to life without Donny in the Celebrity Big Brother household.

Bad boy rocker Donny Tourette scaled the Celebrity Big Brother fence to freedom after refusing to act as Jade Goody's servant.

He will not be returning to the reality show, it was confirmed today.

The loudmouth lead singer with punk band the Towers of London climbed over the fence late last night after just 48 hours in the house.

Donny was one of eight celebrities forced into a life of servitude following the arrival of former Big Brother contestant Goody into the house.

New Forest-based Ken Russell was among the three celebrities who remained in the Big Brother house as part of Goody's adopted family where they will be waited on, hand and foot, by the other eight.

A spokesman for the reality show said: ''At 11.28pm on Friday Donny decided to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house by climbing over a wall.

''Making contact with the outside world is a fundamental rule break and as such Donny will not be returning to the Celebrity Big Brother house.'' Jade, the most successful former Big Brother contestant and now a personality in her own right, arrived in the celebrity version of the show with mum Jackiey Budden and boyfriend Jack Tweedy.

In a cruel twist, eight of the original contestants, including Donny, were forced to move into grimy servants' quarters in a separate section of the house.

The other three housemates are now living in luxury alongside Jade and her family.

The show's website reported that Donny sneaked into the garden shortly before 11.30pm and asked fellow celebrity Ian 'H' Watkins for a helping hand over the fence.

The former Steps star then excitedly told his housemates: ''Donny's just legged it over the fence. He said he's not waiting on Jade. He's gone.'' Shortly before midnight, the servants had his departure confirmed when Cleo Rocos was given an official statement from Big Brother to read out.

The news capped an eventful night for the Big Brother housemates after Jade, 25, returned to the house last night along with her 48-year-old mother and 19-year-old boyfriend.

Jade and her family made their grand entrance at the start of last night's second live show at 10.30pm.

Their arrival - the first time in the Channel 4 show's history that a family has moved into the house - was designed to spark major upheaval in what had been a relaxed house with the minor celebrities all getting along well.

Yesterday afternoon, the 11 celebrity contestants were instructed to pack a bag with enough belongings for three days.

During last night's first live show, they were given one minute to choose three people to remain in the main house and enjoy the spoils of luxury.

The housemates picked film director Ken Russell, former Jackson 5 member Jermaine Jackson and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.

While those three celebrities live with Jade, Jackiey and model Jack, the other eight housemates will be subjected to a life of Victorian-style squalor and servitude in the house next door.

They will be at the beck and call of Jade, her mother and boyfriend, and the three other celebrities, attending to their every whim 24-hours a day.

But their position of luxury comes at a price. All six members in the main house will immediately face the public vote in a surprise eviction next Wednesday.

Mother-of-two Jade only came fourth in the 2002 series of Big Brother but has amassed an £8 million fortune, making her the most successful contestant of all time.

She said she felt ''nervous'' about going back on the show, adding: ''People might think it would give me more confidence because I have my mum, who drives me crazy, and Jack, who I love, going in with me.

''All it does is give me two more people to worry about and look out for.'' Her mother, who has come out as a lesbian and recently underwent £30,000 worth of cosmetic surgery for a TV show, said of moving into the house: ''It was the biggest surprise thrown on me.

''I thought I was going on holiday. Jade just said 'Oh, by the way mum, we're going into the BB house.' ''I've thought it through and weighed up the pluses and minuses and now I'm over the moon. I'm going to go in there and enjoy it.'' Asked what she was going to bring to the house, Jackiey, who split with Jade's drug-addict father when their daughter was two years old, said: ''I'm more likely to drive them all mad. I talk too much and eat like a 32-stone woman.

''As long as no-one jars me, it'll be fine. But I'll just walk away. I'm a bigger version of Jade, remember.'' Jade's family will be eligible to win the series.
