FROM girl next door to fitness guru and potential pop star.
That is the transformation undergone by a former student nurse from Hampshire who's new fitness video has been banned by high street stores for being too raunchy.
Two years ago Hayley Parsons was looking forward to a career tending the sick.
Now a professional model after winning a search for Britain's most beautiful girl next door, she is starring in a keep fit DVD to encourage people to stick to their New Year's resolutions about living a healthier lifestyle.
As if that was not enough, she is about to release her first single.
The dance workout DVD and single have been launched by FHM magazine, which discovered Hayley in 2005 through its High Street Honey competition.
Billed as being for "real women by real women", the home fitness DVD, which has been banned by high street stores because bosses think it is too raunchy for family viewing, is designed to give women a boost of confidence and a sexy covergirl look with various exercises and aerobics, all done to the latest dance music.
Hayley, who appears in one part of the DVD as a sexy pole dancer, told the Daily Echo that she had thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
She said: "We had so much fun doing it but I could not believe how difficult it was.
"We were given a few lessons on how to use a pole before the shoot but it really was tough.
"I have never tried pole dancing before but it is certainly a very good workout."
Glamorous Hayley, 21, from Eastleigh, has had a hectic modelling schedule since winning the High Street Honey title.
Her life is now all about posing for magazines, attending star studded events and travelling around the world as part of the popular nightclub event - the FHM Honeys Tour.
The DVD also includes the music video of Hayley and her FHM Honeys Tour companions performing their forthcoming single.
Hayley said she is enjoying a busy modelling lifestyle but still plans to return to nursing in the future.
"Being a nurse is something I always wanted to do and I intend to go back to nursing in a few years' time, but winning the competition was an amazing life changing experience.
"It is creating so many opportunities and I have travelled to some really nice places and met some really lovely people too, so I intend to make the most of it while I can."
After being crowned High Street Honey for 2005, she touched the heart of many as she donated her £10,000 cash prize to the Red Cross charity after being inspired by their disaster relief work.
The High Street Honeys Dance Workout DVD is available on line from www.FHM.com/honeysdvd or order via your mobile by texting FHM to 82540.
