THE mystery guest set to grace the stage at the Daily Echo's annual Curtain Call awards can today be revealed.
Syd Little, one half of comedy duo Little and Large, will be presenting awards at the highlight of the local amateur dramatics calendar.
He will join editor Ian Murray and entertainments editor Lorelei Reddin who will host the hotly-anticipated evening at Southamp-ton's St Mary's Stadium for the first time.
The glittering black-tie event, on Friday, January 26, gives the actors, actresses, directors, costume and set designers, choreographers and other contributors the chance to shine.
The awards, sponsored by Lite Relief, are now in their eighth year.
Previous guest hosts have included George Baker, Vicki Michelle, Julie Peasgood, Isla St Claire and David Benson.
Only a few tables remain for the dinner, awards ceremony and dance.
Booking forms have been sent out to all the area's amateur dramatics societies who are asked to return them along with a cheque.
