The sounds of rockers Bon Jovi will be recreated in a fundraising gig for Eastleigh Mayor Peter Wall's charity appeal.

The show, at The Point in Eastleigh, follows the huge success of previous concerts which have saluted other big names, including the Bee Gees, T-Rex and Neil Diamond.

On Saturday, January 27, fans will be able to hear such memorable hits as Wanted Dead or Alive, You Give Love a Bad Name, Have a Nice Day and Livin on a Prayer.

The tribute band Bon Jovie plays all over the world including the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

Organiser Kim Garner said: "Bon Jovie offers an astonishingly accurate tribute to the real rockers who played at St Mary's last summer.

"We are very fortunate to have secured them as they are leaving to catch a plane for an overseas gig the following day."

Tickets are available from The Point box office on 023 8065 2333 or from the website www.the point-online.co.uk, priced at £11/£9 concessions.
