MORE than 85 hours of nursing care can be funded thanks to the generosity of people in the Southern Test Valley.

Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal, which ran throughout March, raised £1,376.55 in the Romsey area and £329.22 in Stockbridge.

Community fundraiser Wendy Savage said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Marie Curie and helped to make this year’s Great Daffodil Appeal such a big success. The appeal simply wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful volunteer collectors including Romsey Fundraising Group.”
