CHILDREN, parents and teachers alike are in for a special treat when the circus comes to town.
Clowns, jugglers, acrobats and stilt walkers from Cirque Normandie are putting on a special performance at Four Marks School on Saturday, April 26.
The show starts at 11am, with an afternoon performance of 3pm, and there will be face-painting, tattoos, children’s and adult’s tombolas, a wide range of stalls selling sweets, toffee apples, cakes, a Pimms tent and various other refreshments.
Pupils of the school will also have the chance to learn some of the circus skills at a specialist workshop.
Gates open at 10am and close at 5.30pm. Tickets cost £10 each with a ten per cent discount for families of four or more.
All proceeds raised will go towards the school.
