POLICE are asking for witnesses to come forward following a road rage incident.
A 52-year-old woman was driving a grey Land Rover on Whiteley Way in Whiteley when, for an unknown reason, a man driving a black Ford C-max stopped his car at the roundabout.
He got out and started shouting and swearing whilst approaching the Land Rover.
The victim drove on, but was followed by the C-max. The man approached the Land Rover on foot again at the pedestrian crossing between the two large roundabouts.
He banged on the front passenger side window while shouting and swearing. The C-max was last seen following the Land Rover at the Segensworth roundabout. No one was injured.
The man is described as in his mid thirties, with ginger stubble and short hair. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
The incident happened around 4.45pm on Sunday, March 30. The victim and her family were returning home following a Mother’s Day outing.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Suzanne Howard at Fareham police station on 101 or via the Hampshire Constabulary website.
Witnesses can also call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
