Hampshire County Council has approved giving out £78,000 to groups from across the county as part of its Have Your Say initiative.
Test Valley Partnership has been given £17,500 to provide resources for community groups to use.
Winchester Area Community Action has been handed the same amount to run a community grant scheme for voluntary organisations.
Fareham Borough Council has been awarded £20,000 to support new activities for young people.
And the Gosport Community Safety Partnership has been given £10,500 to run a scheme which will allow young people to bid for cash to improve their communities.
County council executive member for communities and partnerships, Andrew Joy, said: “This scheme gives people a real voice in how money is spent in their local area and provides an opportunity for local grass roots community projects to be supported.”
