A ROAD worker was hit by a vehicle while painting white lines on a Hampshire road.
The workman was found by another work colleague sat on the pavement at the side of the road with a mark on the front of his head.
He was taken to hospital but his injury is not thought to be serious.
The collision happened on the B2177 Winchester Road, in Lower Upham, as the vehicle was travelling through the temporary road works opposite the MACE convenience store around 2pm on Tuesday, April 1.
