POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man they want to question after a bogus caller incident.
Officers are investigating after a man became verbally aggressive towards a 72-year-old woman after claiming he carried out guttering work at her home in Sholing, Southampton.
The man opened a patio door already ajar and asked her for money.
She refused and he became verbally abusive before trying to persuade her to let him in.
The woman refused and the man left in a red Vauxhall Astra as a passenger.
The suspect is described as white, in his late 40s to early 50s, slim build, and had dark brown hair.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Det Con Esra Phillipson-Masters at Bitterne CID on 101.
