Fire crews put out a blaze on Southampton Common, pictured
FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a fire in the woods on Southampton Common.
Crews from Redbridge and St Mary's and a small fires vehicle were called to an area of woodland off Hill Lane at 11pm last night where there was an unattended bonfire that was spotted by a dog walker.
They put out the fire in around 20 minutes.
