Major Southampton roads face closure
A MAJOR road in Southampton will be closed overnight for two weeks.
Mountbatten Way will be shut from its junctions with West Quay Road and Southern Road from April 11 to 25.
The closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am to allow engineers access to the Network Rail maintenance area.
A major £20m project is ongoing to replace tracks at the nearby Central Railway station.
A second major road in the centre of Southampton will close for emergency repair work.
The closure will affect Civic Centre Road from its junctions from Havelock Road and West Marlands Road from 10pm to 1am on May 6.
