FORMER Saints stars used their skills to raise thousands of pounds to help a Southampton charity.
Inspired by the work of No Limits, helping homeless young people in the city, the Ex-Saints Association donated £1,300 worth of items to help the charity offer vital support to those on the streets.
Matthew Le Tissier and Francis Benali visited the No Limits office, in Bernard Street, to chat with staff and young people as they dropped off the haul of sleeping bags and drinking flasks.
The money was raised during a series of charity football tournaments which saw players from the association take to the pitch.
Chairman of the Ex-Saints Association, Mike Thew, said: “It is such a worthwhile charity; we want to do things for people of Southampton, and I was really impressed with the work they do to help adults and young people who sleep rough.”
