LEARN about the Woolston floating bridge at an upcoming talk.
Hamble Local History Society is hosting a presentation by George Neale at the Roy Underdown Pavilion, in Spitfire Way, Hamble, tomorrow at 7.30pm.
He will tell the story of the life of the floating bridge from start to finish and also give a brief description of the previous ferries, including dinghies, from the 1620s.
