THEY are coming to pay tribute to the victims of one of the biggest disasters in history.
Members of the British Titanic Society will visit Southampton today to lay wreaths at docks ahead of the anniversary of the ship’s sinking.
The group has come from across the country, with one even travelling from as far as Australia, and they have special permission from ABP Southampton to conduct the memorial.
They meet at 1.30pm at the Grand Harbour Hotel before leaving for the docks.
More than 1,000 people died aboard the doomed Titanic after it hit an iceberg and sank on April 15, 1912.
