POLICE swooped on a Southampton newsagent his morning to execute a warrant to search the premises.
Customers were turned away for three hours as a team of seven police officers were in the Shayona shop on Redbridge Hill from 9am.
Police left the premises at midday carrying crates and binbags.
Sgt Matt Wake, said: “We executed a warrant at the search. We have seized items due to a suspicion that the property is linked to other offences including those already being investigated."
He declined to say what the investigations relate to.
No arrests have been made and the shop staff were in the shop for the duration of the search, but reopened by 1pm.
