NO mountain was high enough for staff from a Hampshire house builder as they took on a gruelling trek in the name of charity.
Colleagues from Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties took part in the Brecon Beacons 10 peaks challenge climbing the Welsh national park’s 10 highest mountains – all within 10 hours.
David Brown, Andrew Barron, James Mole, Melvin Elford, Diane Swatton, Jennifer Holbrough, Garth Truscott and Matthew Lang all work at the firm’s headquarters in Chandler’s Ford.
The group covered a distance of 26.6km and climbed a total height of 1,480m, raising £5,250 for the Youth Adventure Trust, which provides adventure camps and day activities for disadvantaged children.
