A HAMPSHIRE MP had a diabetes test as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the condition.

New Forest East MP, Dr Julian Lewis joined volunteers from the International Diabetes Federation at a special event in Westminster. He took a diabetes test and met with professionals from Novo Nordisk and Roche, both world leaders in diabetes care.

He said: “With diabetes rates increasing across the country and around the world, I am pleased to support the International Diabetes Federation in raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of diabetes.”
