A CLUB for twins has found a new home.
Southampton Twins and Super Twins Club is holding a launch party for its new meeting venue at Pavillion on the Park in Eastleigh on April 24, from 9.30am to 11.30am and all parents with twins or triplets are welcome.
The launch will include the music group Jiggy Wrigglers and members plan to have a cake sale.
Club chairwoman Lisa Congdon said the club had been asked to leave its previous home of two years, the Kings Community Church in Hedge End, so a slimming group could have an extended slot.
Although the group, which has been running 14 years, was offered another slot, many parents had planned their week around this time.
For the today’s and next week’s session it will meet at Haskins Garden Centre in West End.
The group has more than 350 members, who are all parents or guardians of twins or triplets from around Hampshire that it supports, and is a registered charity that also raises money for other charities like Southampton’s Princess Anne Hospital.
Committee members also give advice to expectant mums at antenatal classes at the hospital.
