IT is the crisis that has threatened to be one of the world’s worst catastrophes since the Second World War.
Now academics at a Hampshire University will be holding a special debate on the Russian occupation of the Crimea in the Ukraine on May 1.
The experts from Southampton Law School and the University of Southampton’s Politics and International Relations Department will discuss what should be the correct ‘legal’ reaction to recent events in the Crimea. They will also look at what it would mean to ‘brand’ Russia’s actions.
It will take place at 6pm at Physics Lecture Theatre A, Building 46 in University Road.
