FOUR men have been jailed for a total of 15 and a half years after admitting conspiring to burgle several Hampshire shops.
The quartet was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court following a spate of 13 burglaries across the South from August 2012 to May 2013.
Their offences included stealing cigarettes from a Shell garage in Winchester Road, Chandler's Ford, in September 2012 and March 2013, as well as from Co-ops in Bordon and Aldershot.
Luke Oliver, 31, of West Drayton, and Jason Noakes, 33, of Slough were both given a five year sentence.
Kirk Morgans, 31, of Slough was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail while Michael Green, 23, of Slough was imprisoned for two years.
Speaking after the sentencing, DC Robert Muir from Aldershot CID said: “These men travelled around South East England committing high value burglaries at convenience stores and garages causing disruption to local businesses.
“During the investigation we executed a number of warrants, trawled hours of CCTV, collaborated with other forces and made use of forensic technology in order to help us solve the case and bring these men to justice.”
