A ROMSEY street collection raised £683.81p for the Children’s Society.
Last Saturday’s collection in the town was carried out by volunteers.
“Through the generosity of both those who made a donation and gave their time to collect, the money raised will be helping the charity’s work with vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, including safeguarding youngsters in care, runaways and those living in poverty,” said Rosemary Larkin, secretary of the Romsey committee of the Children’s Society.
