VILLAGERS near Alresford are increasingly worried by suggestions for a new access road to serve a housing development.
A new estate of 320 houses has been proposed off Sun Lane with a suggested new access onto the B3047.
Bishop’s Sutton Parish Council fears such a new road would cause congestion in their village.
Chairman Aileen Miller said: “There has been no consultation over this at all. It would be a nightmare. It is already a very busy road. The parish council is very concerned.”
