A DISABLED riding centre in Hampshire has been given a cash boost by the Daily Echo to ensure youngsters of all abilities get to enjoy horse riding.
The Hampshire Riding Therapy Centre, in Eastleigh, was given £3,000 by the Gannett Foundation, the charitable arm of the company that owns the Daily Echo.
Mandy Evans, who applied for the grant on behalf of the Morelands Copse Farm, thanked the Echo for the cash and said it would be spent on a new horse for older children.
She said: “The children are outgrowing the ponies.
“We’ve got one 12-year old lad who is six-foot tall already so this horse will cater for him and the others.”
