A MEMBER of staff was assaulted when he tried to intervene in a fight at a pub.
The 23-year-old man was left with cuts to his face after the incident at the New Clock Inn in Fair Oak.
Police say the trouble broke out in the bar around midnight last Friday, April 11.
The victim did not require hospital treatment.
Two men aged 25 from the Eastleigh area have been arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until May.
