A PENSIONER was rescued by firefighters after her arm was trapped in a lift.
The woman became stuck in the lift at Parish Court sheltered accommodation home in Lymington at around 6.30pm last night.
An appliance from Redbridge Fire Station attended the home in Emsworth Road along with the ambulance service.
Redbridge crew manager Chris Ashley said: “We had hydraulics that we were prepared to use but we were able to free her manually. The ambulance crew was there when we arrived so we assisted with the removal.”
It is understood the woman was not seriously hurt.
