THE FESTIVAL of the Sea is returning to the south this summer, promising a nautically-inspired extravaganza for all ages.
The eight-day celebration of the Isle of Wight’s rich maritime history is set to get under way on June 16 and hopes to draw thousands to the Island.
The star attraction this year will be the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, organised by the Island Sailing Club, which takes place on June 21.
Once again organisers Visit Isle of Wight, are urging companies, towns and villages to get onboard by coming up with their own nautical events.
