A HAMPSHIRE school is among two in the UK to receive prestigious European recognition.
Winchester College, in College Street, has been selected by a European jury as an outstanding example of the European Union’s eTwinning programme.
The scheme encourages students to develop creative projects online explaining their local culture with students from other schools in Europe.
Winchester College was judged to have exceptional projects, alongside Mid Calder Primary School in Scotland.
David Ceiriog- Hughes, European coordinator and head of German at Winchester College, was invited to a ceremony in Brussels to collect the prize.
