THERE was a buzz around one Southampton firm this week as staff dressed up for charity.
Workers at the NatWest call centre in Brunswick Gate donned bee costumes to raise funds for the Wayne Howard Trust.
The city-based charity offers support and advice to families dealing with acquired brain injuries.
It is named after local dad and former Manx GP racer Wayne Howard, who sustained severe brain damage and lost his right leg in a horrific motorcycle accident.
Staff at NatWest decided to do their bit for the charity as Wayne’s sister Theresa used to work there.
As well as dressing up as bees – the charity’s logo – they also dressed down in casual attire and held a raffle on Thursday, raising more than £300 in the process.
