A WINCHESTER man was caught drink-driving in the city centre, magistrates heard.
David Watt, 45, of Milnthorpe Lane, West Hill, drove an Audi A4 with excess alcohol on Upper Brook Street on March 29.
His reading was 92mg – nearly three times the legal limit. Watt admitted the charge. Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a community order for 80 hours’ unpaid work, disqualified him from driving for 23 months, and told him to pay a £60 victim surcharge and costs of £85.
