POLICE have named the pedestrian killed in a road accident in Hampshire on Easter Sunday.
Patrick Duffy, 61, from Southampton Road, Bartley, was killed after he was struck by a Ford Focus when crossing the A336 Ringwood Road at Netley Marsh, near Carlton House, on April 20.
The incident happened at around 10.30pm.
In a statement, his family said: “Words cannot describe how devastated we all are. Dad was a loving husband, father, brother and son.
“He was very well known and great friend to many.
“He was a gentle giant with a big heart. We will miss him so much and he will be in our hearts forever.”
