TWO Hampshire sports stars have lined up to launch new sports facilities at Fairthorne Manor with a celebrity golf tournament.
Former Saint and current Eastleigh manager Jason Dodd and England and Hampshire spinner Shaun Udal will host a celebrity 18-hole round. They were joined by ex-footballer Guy Whittingham and golf club manager Mike Rogers ahead of the event, on Sunday, February 18.
Welsh goalkeeper Paul Jones, Hampshire cricketer Dimi Mascarenhas and county coach Tim Tremlett will also lead out their own teams. The golf will be followed by a three-course gala lunch, an auction and a raffle.
Auction items include matchday hospitality at St Mary's, tickets to a one-day game at the Rose Bowl, and signed merchandise.
A raffle will include golf at Marriott Meon Valley Hotel and Country Club, tickets to Paultons Park, meals at Kuti's and Concorde Club tickets.
All the money raised will benefit YMCA Fairthorne Manor and Hampshire Autistic Society.
To book tickets call Clare Cherrington on 01489 772201.
