A MAN whose life was saved by an emergency doctor is embarking on a fundraising challenge for the third week running.
Chris West is cycling on a static bike to fundraise for the volunteer doctors from BASICS Hampshire – one of whom, Sarah Assheton – helped saved his life three years ago. Today he’ll be in Ringwood.
He’s already done nearly 100 miles and raised more than £200. Next month he’ll be riding a racing bike to Paris.
On Monday the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire Dame Mary Fagan will be celebrating the work of BASICS Hampshire doctors and fundraisers.
