TO MARK Shakespeare’s birthday pupils at Chamberlayne College in Southampton created their own versions of one of his best known plays.
The Year 7 pupils re-wrote the opening of Macbeth, creating their own three witches scene. From that they then created their own animations which were shown to parents who were invited in for the day.
The Weston Youth church project were also involved with the event and gave out 36 free books.
Pupils were chosen to receive the books which ties in with the Weston school’s drive to encourage reading for pleasure.
