AN E-FIT of the face of a man suspected of burgling a Southampton home and threatening a woman and her seven-year-old son has been issued by police.
They have released this image as part of an appeal for witnesses to the incident where three men broke into a property in Thackery Road, Portswood, and threatened a mother and child with a knife and spade, demanding money.
One of the men was wearing a gas mask while the other wore a hood covering his face. Nothing was taken during the incident on April 13 but as the men left the home one of them hit the 25-year-old woman’s arm with the spade. She was not seriously injured.
The suspect is described as white, in his late teens, of slim build, with ginger hair and wearing a grey beanie hat with a blue Nike tick.
He also wore a bright blue puffa-style gilet, long-sleeved black T-shirt, dark jeans and Nike trainers with a blue tick and white soles.
