SHE might look terrifying but Velma the velociraptor promises to behave when she visits an Eastleigh shopping centre on Saturday.
On May 3, the prehistoric giant will be on show at the Swan Centre at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm, to promote the newest exhibition at Marwell Wildlife.
Rise of the Dinosaurs will see the zoo transformed into a Jurassic jungle from May to September giving people the chance to learn all about the period with interactive shows and animatronics including the armoured Triceratops, spiked Edmontonia, the plated Stegosaurus and the deadly Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Kirstie Mathieson, project manager at Marwell said: “Dinosaurs supposedly became extinct millions of years ago but it seems Velma has survived, so don't miss this unique opportunity.”
