Four people have been arrested following the execution of two drug warrants in Hampshire.
The warrants were executed at addresses on Pegasus Avenue and Lancer Court yesterday afternoon by officers from Hampshire Constabulary’s Economic Crime team.
During the searches officers seized a quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia.
Two men aged 35 and 39 and two women aged 35 and 67 all from Aldershot have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to launder money.
They are currently being questioned by police.
Detective Sergeant Tom Bradshaw from the Economic Crime team said: "The supply of illegal drugs will not be tolerated in Hampshire and we seek to prevent anyone from making money from this activity which causes misery to the lives of others within our communities.
"The warrants were executed as a result of information received from the public. We are keen to hear from anyone who is concerned about illegal drugs or drug-related crime in their neighbourhood.
"The things to look out for are as follows:
• A sudden increase in visitors to a house or flat and people only staying for a very short time
• Short exchanges between small groups of people at or close to a flat or house
•Residents leaving a flat or house on numerous occasions throughout the day and returning a short time later
• People loitering in an area and using their mobile phones frequently
• New-looking or hire cars parked outside a house or flat that wouldn’t normally be there, and being driven by somebody that you wouldn’t normally associate with driving that style of car.”
If you have any information about drugs in your community you should contact your local Safer Neighbourhoods team by phoning 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
