A hunt has been launched for vandals who targeted 37 cars in the one area.
Police are appealing for information to an ongoing series of damages to parked vehicles in the Carisbrooke area of Newport.
This has been caused by a sharp instrument being used to deliberately puncture tyres.
Inspector Andy McDonald from Newport Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to car owners in this small residential area of Carisbrooke.
“This includes a number of repeat victims who have suffered a significant financial burden because of these crimes.
“Local Safer Neighbourhoods team have made house to house enquiries, but I am asking residents to be vigilant and report anything suspicious or any information relating to the incident to us on 101.”

Information can be given anonymously by phoning the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
Thirty-seven vehicles have been affected in the following areas:
- PURDY ROAD, NEWPORT
- KINCHINGTON ROAD, NEWPORT,
- NIGHTINGALE ROAD, NEWPORT
- WESTMILL STREET, NEWPORT
- MOUNTBATTEN DRIVE, NEWPORT
- HINTON ROAD, NEWPORT
- THE FINCHES, NEWPORT
- WELLINGTON ROAD,NEWPORT.
