A Hampshire couple are on a mission to give history a facelift.

Former accountant, Chris Hobbs, 26, and his girlfriend Claire O’Brien, 28, have started History Bombs, which aims to re-tell historical events in videos of under five minutes, featuring actors in costume.

The pilot episode on the history of aviation has been released, and Mr Hobbs from Winchester said they need to raise £6,000 to film the first series.

It would cover anything from the Stone Age to present day.

Mr Hobbs, of School Lane, said: “We are really looking forward to getting under way and filming the first series of videos.

“We have had a few discussions with people like CBBC.”
