RESIDENTS fear plans for new homes could cause disruption in their historic village.
Plans have been submitted for three new homes in Sunnybanks, Main Road, Itchen Abbas.
But neighbours fear their properties will be over-looked, and so far 50 objections have been submitted.
Mother of five Jo O’Connor, whose 300-year-old Georgian cottage backs onto the site, said people are concerned about the development ruining the setting of the Grade II listed building.
In particular there is concern over a Bronze Age burial mound in the field that they fear would no longer be protected.
The application will be considered by Winchester City Council civic chiefs at the planning committee meeting on May 8.
