A HAMPSHIRE school dedicated a day to commemorating the First World War by staging a series of events and activities.
Staff and students at Applemore College, Dibden Purlieu, near the New Forest, organised a programme of events which included staging a play commemorating the war which was performed to pupils from surrounding junior schools who were specially invited to share the event.
Along with the play, activities included preparing and eating food from war times and finding out more about the war effort.
