BUDDING actors at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton will be treading the boards when they perform their annual musical theatre production this month.
Playing at the Berry Theatre, Hedge End, on May 16 and 17 Pippin is a mysterious tale that follows a young prince on his journey to find life’s meaning.
Having the opportunity to create, rehearse, produce and perform in live, full-scale productions in professional venues is a key aspect of the Performing Arts course at the Hill Lane college.
These performances are an invaluable part of the student learning experience, as not only do they take on a performance role but they also undertake a production role to understand the responsibilities of putting on a live show.
