Landlord admits flouting fire regulations
A MAN has admitted breaching fire regulations at premises above a restaurant.
Kumar Lama, 42, admitted flouting fire prohibition notices over the use of second floor space above the Gurkha Chef restaurant in City Road, Winchester.
The offences occurred on October 3, 2012, October 25 2012, June 21, 2013 and June 28, 2013, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court heard.
Lama, of Jewry Street, was remanded on unconditional bail to appear for sentencing at Winchester Crown Court on May 16.
